Born in Gravesend 1935.   Married 1964.    Moved to Sole Street 29Manor Road Feb 1969.  Manor Road had just been adopted.  We bought the house (bungalow) from the Kitchinghams'  

My wife Min was born in Graveney Lodge in Meopham during the war.   Our children Helen and Andrew are both married and now live in and near the Cotswolds. 

I have a copy of Ralph Arnold's published in 1949 and the map is inside the front and back covers.  I notice on the map at the corner of the Parsonage the words "Observers post" ??Second world War??
